The Tribute Companies Updates Brand – Unveils New Logo and Expanded Website
A new look highlights a full array of cemetery development solutions
In 1973, William R. Toson founded The Tribute Companies as a Midwest cemetery sales and marketing consultant firm. Today, Tribute offers a complete approach to cemetery development including design, construction administration and structural precast concrete interment products used in cemeteries across the United States and into Canada. A business component that has not been at the forefront of the company’s marketing efforts in the past, but is a distinct contributor to The Tribute Companies’ success, is their ownership and operation of cemeteries. President, Christine Toson Hentges represents the fourth generation of her family to own and operate cemeteries in the State of Wisconsin. Tribute has intimate knowledge of what cemetery operators face day-to-day and offers solutions based on industry specific expertise.
The unveiling of the company’s refreshed brand highlights not only their growth, but their distinction as a full-service ‘End of Life Profession’ development firm. The new logo borrows the eternal flame from Tribute’s original torch logo representing the commitment of supporting cemeteries for many generations to come. The lower column is taken from Tribute’s cemetery brand and represents the organization’s mission to be a pillar within the community. This symbol will be reflected not only throughout The Tribute Companies’ business-to-business services but will impact all visual aspects of the cemetery division branding. The new corporate brand reflects a modern, unified and approachable look and makes use of a dual color scheme.
In addition to rebranding efforts, company President, Christine Hentges initiated an expansion of the company website to include information on all aspects of Tribute’s cemetery development services. “Today we are much more than a cemetery consulting firm and precast outer burial container supplier,” says Hentges. “We want our clients to see the value of our direct cemetery ownership experience, complete array of services and understand how each component of our company complements the other. The Tribute Companies’ ability to offer a well-rounded approach is essential for the full assessment and fulfillment of our clients’ project needs. It is imperative that our website reflect the updating of our brand to strengthen our manifestation as a modern, innovative, and complete ‘End of Life Profession’ development firm.”
The Tribute Companies’ expanded website, www.tributeinc.com, underwent a full makeover utilizing updated technology and a fresh color palette. Service descriptions are in greater depth and new pages include construction administration and cemetery ownership. An FAQ section has been added and will continue to be updated to answer industry specific questions from the company’s clients and colleagues. An interactive blog section will soon be incorporated to promote information sharing and thought leadership. Tribute plans to launch several promotions in 2015 to drive traffic to and spread the word about the upgraded website beginning with a special promotion at the ICCFA meeting in San Antonio, Texas, April 8th – 11th, 2015.
