About Us

Tribute’s understanding of cemetery sales and operations is built on hands-on experience. Managing the day-to-day activities of a cemetery and positioning it to take advantage of growth opportunities requires multiple areas of expertise and decades of experience to make it succeed.

Tribute was originally founded by William “Bill” R. Toson in 1973 to provide sales and marketing assistance to independent, church and municipal cemeteries after Bill was raised in a family of cemeterians, including his father, Robert W. Toson, Uncle Harold N. Toson and Grandfather, Harold E. Toson. When clients demanded control of the products they sold, Tribute purchased a precast concrete company to sell a complete line of cemetery-related products wholesale to cemetery owners so that they could help grow their revenue by offering products directly to their end user for a reduced price and superior quality. Soon after, Tribute founded a full-service architectural firm to focus on designing facilities that are “economically sustainable” for today and in the future as well as enhancing the end-of-life experience within the communities that were being served.

Tribute is proud of its reputation within the cemetery and funeral industry and will gladly refer you to the many owners, managers and leaders who have trusted our services. From interment products to cemetery construction and development and consulting services, we cater to all your end-of-life profession needs.
